Our decision to stop making some of our products is largely based on the state of the U.S. economy. Our “do nothing” congress refuses to reduce their wasteful spending and address the problems of the citizens. This has caused the U.S. dollar to slip in value sharply.

Increased costs are from our parts suppliers who have lost many customers as U.S. manufacturers move their production to other countries. To make up the loss the parts suppliers have raised their prices to their remaining customers. Also, we buy many expensive, premium parts from Europe where the EURO is strong compared to the deflated dollar.

Some of our key, experienced technical and production staff commute 60 or more miles daily to work. They are facing high cost gas prices.

It is becoming very difficult to manufacture in America and make a profit.
